Streams Last week

On Tuesday, I hosted a Q&A for people to ask questions about my new course. I also spent some time building a React App overlay.

On Wednesday, I did a chill stream, where I ended up building a Timer with React.

On Thursday, I did Coding Improv and ended up building "Pikachu’s Scavenger Hunt" with Kaboom.js. View the code here and play the game here.

On Friday, we worked on listd. I refactored the YouTube API integration to prepare for caching responses and cleaned up some of the page styles. The code changes for the past 2 streams have not been merged into main yet, but you can view the changes on this branch / PR.

This Week

View this week’s schedule here: https://coding.garden/schedule/

On Tuesday, I will be live to talk about AI. I’ll talk about my thoughts on what it means for the industry, answer any questions you might have, and give ideas for how new apps can be built and interacted with. I will also play around with Github Copilot and use some of the OpenAI APIs and Midjourney.

On Friday, I will continue work on listd. I plan to work on the caching layer of the YouTube API integration.

That’s all! Thanks for reading this far down. Here is a cool image I generated with Midjourney v5 with the prompt "vintage computer terminal in a server room in the style of Carlos Cruz-diez":
