Hello friend,

Last Week

Last Tuesday, we discussed the topic "Should you Use Typescript?" and solved some Code Wars Code Katas. On Friday we continued working on listd, focusing on features and styles (finally!).

During the listd stream we had a chat about "runes" which are coming in Svelte version 5. That conversation was clipped into it’s own YouTube video. The response has been pretty divisive but that’s usually the way things go with big changes in the front-end frameworks we know and love.

This Week

Today on stream we will be reviewing last weeks discussion topic "What was your first programming language?" and solving last week’s challenge CSS battle #14, Friday we will continue work on listd.

Weekly Challenge

This week’s challenges are some Code Wars Code Katas of increasing difficulty:

• 8 kyu - All Star Code Challenge #18
• 7 kyu - Maximum Adjacent Product
• 6 kyu - Meeting

Weekly Discussion Topic

This week we will be discussing: Have you ever experienced burnout? What caused it? What was it like? Have you recovered? If you have, what helped you recover? Do you have advice for others who are burnt out?

Join the discord to discuss with us.

That’s all for now! See you in the YouTube chat and on discord.
