David Luecke, the creator and core maintainer of FeathersJS stopped by the stream to talk about what is new in Feathers v5 and answer chat’s questions. Checkout the VOD here.
For listd, we configured eslint and prettier. It took a while and a lot of debugging, but I’m pretty happy with config we ended up with. We also setup a git commit hook to run the linter before allowing a commit. Checkout the VOD here.
I also did a "subs only" stream where I fixed the archive command on vox, fixed my email templates on ios (and everywhere else! you should be seeing the new template today…), and also updated the styles on the stream schedule page. This was the first time I tried doing a twitch subs only stream. Having a smaller audience and less active chat allowed me to focus and get things done, while still interacting every now and then. I will likely try this again sometime this week, but I might try a stream with subs only chat instead of entirely limited to subs, but we’ll see.
Today I am going to be learning Next.js 13 Beta and attempting to re-create the "Full Stack Travel Log" I built back in 2020.
